Wonderful Wedding

Yesterday I went to a wonderful wedding. My friend's son married his very beautiful girlfriend and the day was just perfect. This is a picture of the card I made using a Martha Stewart border punch, butterfly punch with gems, paper from my stash and a Docrafts stamp triple embossed within an embossed and cut framed heart. Hope you like it.

Posting twice in one month - cute card

I've been making cards just for fun this month. Supposed to be organising my craft room but you just have to play don't you!

Found this stamp but can't remember where I bought it. I should really update my database - yes I did have a database of my stamps created a few years ago as I had so many - my stamps have bred I'm afraid and I wouldn't like to guess at how many I have now!!! Anyhow, this is just a quick and easy card using scraps from my stash - dotty paper, blue satin ribbon, Martha Stewart punched strip, nesties diecut, stamped with stazon and coloured with distress ink.
Hope you like it.

Long time posting

hello there. I know it's been over a year but here goes with my first post. I've been making sample wedding invitations for a friend who is getting married February 2012. How exiciting! This is an order of service I designed for my friend's son when he got married in July 2009. My new comission is for a red and white theme - here is just one of the samples I designed. All I need to do now is learn to scan and publish in the correct order lol. Thanks for visiting. Promise not to leave it too long.

Hello there. Welcome to my blog. It's taken me a long time to have the confidence to create a blog where I can share my art. I love all things crafty, especially rubber stamping and cardmaking, mixed media art and knitting. I live with my husband of 47 years and a house full of pets. My four children are all grown up and have flown the nest! I love being retired and devoting my time to family and crafting - hopefully in that order.
